To expand our activities, we are looking for a suitable candidate for the vacancy of Allround Forwarder.
40 hours | Fun & international team | Heart of Rotterdam
Mann Lines B.V. is a dynamic shipping & forwarding company, part of the family-owned Mann Lines Group Ltd. UK.
Specialized in sea transport as a carrier, NVOCC, and forwarder, we also offer all kinds of multimodal transport. In addition to our own offices, we are part of various international network. We handle a wide range of cargo compositions in the fields of RoRo, Breakbulk, and Container transport.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
- Independently setting up new activities and expanding the customer base.
- Maintaining contact with clients, logistics providers, shipping lines, and carriers.
- Analyzing the current customer base in terms of revenue and/or modalities.
- Collaborating with and supporting the sales team and operations department.
- Effective communication regarding the preparation of quotations and aftersales.
- Active involvement in the implementation of new customers and their volumes.
- Regularly monitoring results together with the management team.
WHAT DO WE EXPECT?
- Higher professional education (HBO) level of thinking and working.
- At least 3 to 5 years of work experience as an all-round freight forwarder (experience with import/export).
- Proficient in Dutch and English (both spoken and written).
- Service- and customer-oriented, accurate, enthusiastic, no-nonsense, and not a 9-to-5 mentality.
