Accounting Assistant (EN)
For our office in Rotterdam, we are looking to expand our team with an Accounting Assistant (M/F)
Do you have experience with both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable and are you looking for a role where you can do more than just process numbers? We are looking for an Accounting Assistant who is proactive and knows how to maintain an overview. The role is for a minimum of 24-32 hours per week. In this position, you will work independently, but you will also be the link within the team when it comes to finances. Are you looking to grow and make a real impact?

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As an Accounting Assistant, you are responsible for handling the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable administration. You keep track of financial obligations and ensure everything is well-organized. Your tasks include:
- Processing incoming and outgoing invoices
- Tracking payments and outstanding balances
- Following up on approval processes
- Contributing ideas to improve current financial processes
- Providing support to Customer Service
- Updating customer and supplier information
- Preparing invoices
- Working closely with the General Manager, direct colleagues, and Customer Service
WHAT DO WE EXPECT?
- Minimum MBO work and thinking level
- At least 2-3 years of experience with similar tasks
- Good command of Dutch and English
- Proactive, eager to learn, and team-oriented
- Available for a minimum of 24-32 hours per week
